Paula Baqueiro has a Master’s degree in Law, State and Constitution from the University of Brasília, where she also completed her Law Degree.

Having worked in the public sector and the private sector, in addition to intense participation in the academic field, Paula brings together a robust and varied set of skills that enrich her legal practice.

She worked as a lawyer, advising and representing Brazilian and foreign clients in cases of expression in the competition area, in addition to conducting internal investigations and designing and implementing compliance/corporate compliance policies. She held the positions of Head of Advisory and Advisor in the Office of the Court of the Administrative Council for Economic Defense (2018-2022), specializing in the analysis of administrative processes involving acts of concentration (M&A) and investigations of anti-competitive conduct, such as cartels and abuses of dominant position. In 2019, she participated in the International Trade Training Program with the Brazilian Mission in Geneva, integrating activities at the WTO, WIPO and UNCTAD, and interned at the Minister’s Office of the Federal Supreme Court, with work focused on concentrated constitutionality control actions ( 2016-2017).
